My final exams loomed on May 14, a cold reminder that time slips through our fingers like sand. Between grading papers and debugging vertex shaders, I realized every minute spent wrestling memory allocators was a minute stolen from the fire of imagination.

We’ve built the foundations—the test harnesses, the C routines, the ironclad safeguards. Now those systems must serve the greater battle plan: crafting fluid gameplay loops, honing AI tactics that surprise and enthrall, and perfecting that dynamic day/night cycle where twin suns cast long, haunting shadows. - C++ Standards Over C Constructs
I’m rewriting our core in C++ — invoking smart pointers instead of manual frees, RAII as our shield against leaks, and templates as the palette for our math library. Freed from the grind of raw allocations, I can now carve out the living heart of our combat system, unchained from the boilerplate barricade.
Dedication & Calling
In the dim glow of this workshop I hear an echo—not of pistons or code, but of a primal call.
